Our Vision

Every kid is a natural born scientist, engineer, and explorer. At STEM GRO we believe that by allowing our students to engage with science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, hands-on, exploratory manner, we can help guide them to their own unique discoveries - epiphanies that will eventually enable them to successfully meet the challenges facing our world.

We are passionate about the absolute necessity of a strong educational foundation in S.T.E.M. disciplines as it relates to each individual’s, as well as our planet’s, future. STEM GRO was founded for the following reasons:

• to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in S.T.E.M. fields

• to build critical-thinking and problem-solving skills and develop innovation, productivity, accountability, self-confidence, and team-work

• to prepare the S.T.E.M. workforce of the future

If we want more S.T.E.M. graduates, we must promote ideas, language, people, and programs that demonstrate relevance and foster a sense of belonging to all students regardless of gender, ethnicity, or zip code.
